An Inspiration Challenge

Have you checked out the Pals Paper Arts Challenge blog yet? This week was their third challenge and it was an inspiration challenge.

Here was the inspiration:

And here is my card:

I picked up on the blue stripes in the carpet and yellow of the giraffe, along with My cutey-patooty little boy from Very Thankful to continue with the child theme. My card base was layered with Soft Suede, So Saffron and Not Quite Navy and Bordering Blue Stripes. I topped this with my littleboy stamped in Basic Black and colored using Stampin' Write markers and my blender pen. (Hint: I picked up the colored with my blender pen directly from the tip of the Stampin' Write marker!) I added three Not Quite Navy Buttons from the Fresh Favorites 1 pack, threading them with a sliver of So Saffron cardstock. This was matted on Soft Suede and popped on top of the card with Stampin' Dimensionals!

Here's what I used:

Paper
Whisper White 100730
Soft Suede 115318
So Saffron 105118
Not Quite Navy 101722
Bordering Blue 102630

Creamy Caramel Stampin' Write Marker 100078

Stamps

Kudos to you Melissa! I was racking my brain for a "kid friendly" stamp and this one (that I own) did not cross my mind. Really cute card--nice work :D.
