This was the first project I made for Artisan Award and I loved it, I really thought it was unlike anything I had seen before and I was very proud of it. It took me about 4 hours to make this card. i cut up cardstock into many tiny pieces and hand glued them, placing them with tweezers, to create a mosaic look of a cherry blossom tree. After all the pieces were in place I covered the entire image with Crystal Effects so it was glossy like glass.

Wow! What an idea starter!
This is fabulous. It's such a unique piece of art!
LOVE IT, I HAVE NOT TRIED THIS TECHNIQUE!
Wow that is stunning. What a beautiful and unique card.
WOW, Melissa! This is an incredible card! I love it. Great job!
This is GREAT!
Wow, wonderful card...will be hard to part with, but an awesome "gift" in and of itself!! I've read/seen samples of mosiac cards made with rubber scraps put on a block or even use unmounted and make up the "mosiac stamp" but this seems more dimensional. I guess the rubber scraps built on a wood or acrylic block would permit multiple cards to be made ....thanks for sharing!
Wow! I have seen some mosaic, but this takes the cake! I love it!
that is fabulous! you should frame it!
WOW! I bet this did take forever...and you DO need to frame it! So amazing!!!
WOW!!!! What a great card!
Wow, this card IS amazing! I have never seen anything quite like it, either. (I had done the Faux Mosaic card before, but just with random forms, not with an actual design.) The embossing makes it look like glass! Amazing!
