This card is definitely a lot different than the cards I usually make and I'm on the fence about it.
My card base is Soft Suede scored on top. I then layered textured Crushed Curry Cardstock over top. I added a Soft Suede Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon overtop. I made my pumpkin by punching out three large ovals out of, you guessed it, Pumpkin Pie! I sponged around the outside edges with Soft Suede Ink to add dimension) I hand cut a little stem from Chocolate Chip and then cut a very thin sliver of Old Olive Cardstock from a scrap I had...(the sliver was so thin it natural curled itself to form my vine.)
Using my Little Leaves Sizzlet and my Big Shot I cut my leaves from Old Olive, Soft Suede, Pumpkin Pie, and Dusty Durango. I cut apart all but the Old Olive leaves to make it look like fall with leaves on the ground, my Old Olive branches I left whole and glued to the top of the page.
I'd really love your feedback on this card, it was way outside my comfort zone.
Oh! And don't forget about this month's Card Kit of the Month! I've had more orders than expected so I will fill them as they come in, 10 at a time so you could get your kit earlier than the 20th.

Absolutely darling. I have made one of these for cards using 5 punches and it turns out great. I don't know where I found it but I made it for the first time this year. How about adding a few more? Your sponging is very well done. You can't even tell it is done other than a little hint of color (which is the object of the game). Thanks for the cute card.

I love it!!!!!! I think you did a great job!
It is a very nice card. I'm thinking what you are on the fence about is that maybe the pumpkin isn't "grounded" or actually sitting on anything. You could either put more leaves closer to the bottom of it or draw a couple of "hills" under it with either Pumpkin Pie or Soft Suede to have it sitting on the ground. A shadow effect would work too. Like I said though, it is a nice card, I love the vines! You did a great job on the pumpkin.
Humm, maybe there needs to be a sky under the green leaves. Tee Hee, just giving you more to do! Don't be so hard on yourself, it may be different from what you are used to doing but it is still a great card.
